• All text can have a background of either White or Transparent
• Symbols will resize to accomodate text if it exceeds the size of the symbol.
Layout
• Numeric Command keys for View are removed and used for connecting line paths
• Command-H now equals Reduce to fit
• Command-J now equals 100% View
• In Reduce to fit mode, grid lines, rulers and scroll bars are not displayed
Pattern

Lines
• There are now 9 system defined line paths (command 1-9) and Command-0 for manually defined lines.
• Select a line and drag an endpoint to another symbol. Bound text stays bound during this operation.
• You may now have more than one system defined connecting line between any 2 symbols.
• Set Line Distance sets the distance a line will be drawn before the first bend is made.
• Reset to Line Distance resets the selected line(s) to the specified distance.
• Pressing the Option key and clicking inside of a symbol puts you into connecting line mode.
Symbols
• To show symbols with Notecards, press Command-Shift-n, they will outline with a gray line
• Command-Option-click on a symbol will open its Notecard
• Pressing Enter when you have a Notecard active will close it
• Notecards can have multi-style and multi-color text
• Command-E now equals Edit Polygon
• Command-Y now equals Reset to Standard Size
• Command-; now equals Change Shape
• Command-/ now equals Move Symbols
• Nudge has been removed from the menu, use the arrow keys
• Disconnect All has been removed, select all connecting lines with Command-- and delete
• Order Symbols has been added for front-to-back ordering
• Move Symbols moves selected symbol(s) to a different drawing, maintaining their lower levels
• Custom Symbols on your drawing can now be reset to the size that they are in the Custom Symbols Editing Window if the Reset to Std Size checkbox is checked in that symbol’s editing window.
• 24 Node Connectors are available in the palette between the Icons and the Custom Symbols.
Special
• Notecard Titles can be changed using Change Mode under the Special Menu
• Command-J and Command-H are no longer equivalents for Show Hierarchy and Show Window
• Align to Grid and Align Symbols are now under the Symbols menu.
• Select Palettes allows you to choose palettes to be displayed when rotating the palette.
• Change Mode now allows you set default drawing and Notecard titles.
• The Change Mode dialog box has an options dialog box so that you can specify PostScript Symbols, Color Printer, Copy Pictures in Color, Context Sensitive Cursor and Fractional Character Spacing.
